The Clean Seal process is recommended for holes smaller than 5/8 inches in diameter. Major leaks, such as broken, disconnected, or damaged ducts, must be repaired before sealing. We typically identify these issues during our initial inspection. If we discover any during the sealing process, we can immediately stop the system, inspect the problem area, and propose a solution on-site before resuming the sealing process.
Excess sealant may seep into areas where air previously escaped, such as attics, garages, and wall cavities. This is completely safe and will dry without issue. Our process includes air filtration to prevent any sealant vapor from entering your living spaces.
Yes. Ducts made of all types of materials can be cleaned after being sealed. Our formula is durable, remaining flexible and supple over time.
We guarantee our work for at least 10 years, and durability tests have shown it can last up to 40 years in residential homes.
The drying time is relatively fast but may vary depending on the number of leaks, as well as the size and length of the ducts. Once the sealing process is complete, your HVAC system can be turned back on immediately.
